So, I feel the need to clear up some things about this blog.
Whoops! I guess that I've let the blog slip for a little while. School's been busy, you know? Shows, 22 units a quarter, graduating this year, yeah yeah. I'm working, here!
But, I always have time to search and and score fun tokidoki swag. Of course, tokidoki-blog.com makes finding deals a whole lot easier because the moderator always puts up deals - I don't think I go a day without visiting her site. If you're a tokidoki fan, please visit The Tokidoki Blog and stay up-to-date on all things tokidoki.
So, what did I get recently? Well, I think that on my last blog I was pretty juiced about a Pirata Gioco that I picked up from Macy's. Since then, I have added a Spiaggia Buon Viaggio to my growing family. =) It's also a great season for tokidoki clothes, too. Maybe I'll post up pictures, but this is just a quick run-down of what I snagged:
- 'Til Death Do Us Part Adios and Ciao Ciao figurine set. I won it from a contest on tokidoki-blog.com!
- Adios Loves Ciao Ciao gray t-shirt. This was a gift from my brother. =D
- Adios and Ciao Ciao light gray hoodie. This was also a gift from my brother - but I'm waiting for delivery! Grrr.
- Mozzarella and the Moofia black hoodie. You know, the flyy one with the old school tokidoki script across the back? It just got delivered! Yay!
- Adios Star Bocce. Bocce are so tiny, so when I called the Southampton store and spoke with the SA there, I had all these crazy print placement requests. They had a limited stock left, but she found me something nice. =D I haven't seen it yet, because I'm out of town and the deliver was just made to my house in Santa Cruz, but I'm banking on faith, here.
And that's it! Lots of stuff recently, AND my birthday is just around the corner! I really want to add a Vacanze to my collection [especially since they're on sale right now!], and I love the Cactus Pups AND the Moofia figurines. Until next time [which hopefully is a lot sooner!].
Ciao!
I'm so incredibly juiced! Last night I got my first tokidoki bag! It is a gorgeous Pirata print Gioco. I haven't worn it anywhere yet because I haven't scotch-guarded it yet, but I plan on doing that sometime today! AHHH!
I dragged my mom to Macy's last night, just because I wanted to *look* at the purses. First of all, I should tell you that ever since I found tokidoki, I've been in love with the Pirata print, but terrified that it would be sold out everywhere before I could pick one up. I..seriously..didn't want to pay 3x the worth of the bag from someone on eBay. SO, at Macy's, not only did they have Pirata in the Gioco bag, but because it's a discontinued print, it was ALSO 25% off! How exciting was that!?
Wait! There's more!
So I decided to open up a Macy's account, because when you open a new account, you get 15% off your first purchase. Killer, right? It gets even better. There was also a special going on in the store where you could save an additional 15% for using your Macy's card. AND THEN we found out that there was a separate promotion where you get an extra 15% off for opening the account that day. WHAT!?
Yeah, so I was super stoked. This beautiful $160.00 bag, and I scored it for $76.00 and some change. How awesome is THAT?!
Okay, that's all for now. I just wanted to share the good news!
Now which purse am I going to go for next..?
Ciao!
Starting a new blog must be something like unwrapping a shiny paper-wrapped, rhinestone-encrusted, square-shaped Christmas gift with a big stiff bow on top - THAT YOU WRAPPED YOURSELF. So..in a nutshell, I'm pretty excited about blogging now, even though I'm not sure why I wasn't really into it before. I had spurts of time when I would blog a lot on MySpace or lj [and reading what I wrote really made me laugh], but I'm tired of both of those blogspots. Looking for something new, I guess, and this one seems to be it.
My summer vacation has been so amazing so far!!! Working at [beep] has been what I always dreamed it would be - magical and fun and I've met SO MANY hella amazing people that it makes some of the not-so-fun moments [like people screaming at me] digestable. It's no picnic, but I like the challenge. It's even worth the gas money and the driving time!!!
Just recently, perhaps in the past couple of months, I've developed a new obsession. I am in love - COMPLETELY - with tokidoki! It is the absolute CUTEST! It's hella bright and cheerful, and I just want to CRAM IT ALL INTO MY MOUTH AND KEEP IT IN MY BELLY SO THAT IT CAN BE WITH ME ALWAYS. Okay..maybe that was extreme. I guess I'm trying to express that I really..really..like this brand. And now, I'm freakin' pissed off because I had an opportunity to get SO MUCH more of it while I was working at Comic Con! But then, I was only lightweight into it, you know, so I just got a Momo Peach longsleeved hoodie. I'm hip to the game now, though, and I think I'm going down to Macy's tonight to see what purses they have there. Just recently at Vault 28, I got the Latte/Moofia light blue sleeveless hoodie with happy bullets. It was kinda pricey for a shirt, but SO worth it! The makeup mirror that I scored from Sephora might've been overkill, though, I will admit. I'll just pull back a bit.. One day, I'm going to make a super-long wishlist. ^_^!!!
Off I go!
End transmission.
